Does the Hooligan require me to mix gas and oil?

No. This is a 4-stroke engine, similar to a car or lawnmower engine. It has a dedicated oil reservoir for lubrication. You only put straight unleaded gasoline into the 1.5-liter gas tank, which makes it much easier to maintain than 2-stroke models.

How does the Electric Start work?

The Hooligan features an onboard 12V battery and a starter motor. Instead of pulling a cord, the rider simply pushes a button on the handlebars to fire up the engine. (Note: A battery charger is included to keep the starter battery topped off during the off-season).

Is the seat height good for my child?

The 27-inch seat height is a "sweet spot" for riders aged 13 and up, providing enough clearance for off-road obstacles while keeping the center of gravity low enough for confident handling.

What are Hydraulic Brakes?

Most starter bikes use cable-pulled brakes. Hydraulic brakes use fluid to transfer pressure, resulting in much smoother, more powerful stopping with less hand strength required from the rider.
