What makes a "Shaft Drive" better than a "Chain Drive"?

A shaft drive is more durable and requires significantly less maintenance. Because there is no chain to lubricate or tension, it is quieter and less likely to be affected by dirt, mud, or debris kicked up during off-roading.

How do the different speed settings work?

The Raider features three selectable forward speeds. This allows you to cap the speed at 8 MPH for beginners, 15 MPH for intermediate riders, or unlock the full 23 MPH for experienced adventurers.

Is it easy for a child to use reverse?

Yes. The F/N/R gear selector works just like a real car or UTV. The rider simply stops the vehicle, switches to Reverse, and uses the throttle to back up—making it much easier to navigate tight trail spots.

Can it fit in the back of my truck?

With a width of 34 inches and a length of 57 inches, the Raider fits comfortably in the bed of most standard pickup trucks. Note that the unit weighs 196 lbs, so we recommend using ramps for loading and unloading.
